Rocket League is anything but beginner-friendly. The matchmaking system constantly puts you against players who are way too strong, making it nearly impossible for new players to enjoy the game. Instead of fair matches, you get thrown into lobbies full of hardcore "sweats" who seem to have spent thousands of hours mastering every mechanic. There’s no real learning curve—just a steep wall of frustration. Instead of having fun, you’re stuck watching opponents air-dribble and flip-reset while you struggle to even hit the ball properly. The ranking system does little to balance the experience, so if you're not already skilled, expect to lose over and over again. If you’re looking for a game where you can casually improve and have fun, Rocket League is not it.
