Maybe the best game ever made. Baldur’s Gate 3 feels like a game where almost anything is possible, and that freedom is what makes it so special. The amount of choices and possibilities is absolutely insane. Your character, your class, your companions, your relationships, your decisions, and even the way you approach seemingly simple situations can completely change how the game unfolds. There are countless ways to solve problems, and the game constantly rewards you for thinking outside the box and experimenting. The writing, characters, voice acting, music, and world-building are all incredible, but what really stands out is how well everything comes together. Your decisions actually matter, and the game manages to make even small choices feel meaningful. Every playthrough can be completely different from the last. The combat is also fantastic, with an enormous amount of freedom thanks to the classes, abilities, spells, equipment, environment, and countless interactions between them. You can approach encounters in ways that you probably wouldn’t even think were possible until you try them. It’s the kind of game where you can spend hundreds of hours playing and still discover something new. Baldur’s Gate 3 doesn’t just give you a story to follow—it gives you a world to experiment with and lets you create your own story. An incredible RPG and, in my opinion, the greatest game ever made.
