At the time of this review, I played about 25 hours. As a new MH player, the interface is very cluttered and many parts of the game is unexplained. However, even a novice like me can see that there is a lot of depth to the combat.

Pros: Fun crafting system, Warm coming-of-age story Cons: Crafting item management, Majority of the combat is simple/boring

Good Uncharted feeling. Janky stealth and combat though.

Update to the original that's more palatable to the modern player. It's addicting to build your repertoire of abilities. Pros: Unique ability learning system, Quality of life updates to original Cons: Tons of trash mobs

Charming top-down Zelda clone. I purchased this game in May 2023 and finished it in November 2024, which reflects that it was a mediocre game that I pushed through to complete. The characters are very charming and the music is great, but I think the gameplay and puzzles fall short.

A weak single player MMO.

I only played about 2 hours before calling it quits. Not entertaining enough for me.

Didn't get too far. The rodent and bug combat was uninspiring. The world felt dead.
