I was expecting just a decent RPG, but what I got was an outstanding game that kept me glued to the screen for hours on the end, and charmed me with its atmosphere. This is a game that summons memories of times when there were no DLCs, and games were not used for showcasing individual ideologies. Instead of dividing fans with different views, they brought them together in an adventure to save the world. Congratulations to the creators who skillfully combined classic elements with modernity.

I won't say that Sparking! Zero is the best Dragon Ball game out there because I still prefer Kakarot, which is already over four years old. However, it definitely is the adaptation with the most refined combat system and the best fighting game in the Dragon Ball universe on the market. If all elements of the game were on such a high level, it would deserve the highest score, but the limitations in the story mode and the split-screen gameplay are too significant to not negatively affect the final rating. One also can't ignore cut-out content to sell it as DLC. Nevertheless, this doesn't change the fact that we are dealing with an excellent title, which is a must-play for all Dragon Ball series fans.

Fans who remember and love the original will be delighted to play the remaster. However, those who didn't get the chance to play it before, might struggle with obsolete mechanics that were standard in video games in 2006, but might now be seen as irritating, archaic, or simply too difficult. If they muster the patience, though, they certainly won't regret it because Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will reward them with lots of fun.

Dustborn is a very intriguing and, in a way, innovative title in the adventure game market. The creators at Red Thread Games should be commended for their willingness to experiment and venture off the beaten path. They've crafted a solid hybrid of an adventure game, action RPG, and rhythm game. However, this mix might cause fans of classic adventure games to either skip Dustborn entirely or, after a few hours of gameplay, become so frustrated with the action elements that they might just set the game aside. But for those who give Dustborn a chance, there awaits more of a dozen hours of genuinely enjoyable gameplay.
