Diego Gomes's Reviews
Due to its simplicity and chaotic moments, the game is indeed very fun to play with friends and will certainly please the most assiduous fans of the series with its fanservice and charm. However, the notable lack of content and repetition mean that Kirby’s Dream Buffet does not stand on its own and becomes an experience that I cannot see myself returning to in a few weeks.

The KLONOA Phantasy Reverie Series is the perfect way to not only introduce these two classic games to new fans, but also to allow old fans to replay them in a more accessible and polished format. These are two competently crafted remasters, free from notable game design issues, and represent the Klonoa franchise's hope of staying alive. This represents a unique experience, one that no other franchise to date has been able to replicate, and one that anyone with even the slightest interest in platformers, whether 2D or 3D, should give a try.

Kao the Kangaroo is a good game. Despite its lack of polish, innovation, and graphical/frame rate issues on the Switch, it's still a fun experience that I'd recommend to most 3D platforming fans. Even with my criticisms, I really wish the series wouldn't stop here. I can see the potential for an excellent game in a possible sequel, but for now, Kao the Kangaroo is simply a good experience for fans of the genre.
