Gavin Sheehan's Reviews
Dragon Age: The Veilguard has taken some of the best elements of BioWare's storytelling and melded it with action RPG elements and character-building mechanics. Oh, and dragons!
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind will take you back to the glory days of '90s arcade beat 'em up titles with an original story fans will enjoy. But it does lack in offering a unique experience.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle does an amazing job of bringing players back into the film franchise with a fun adventure. But it also feels like this could have been much more than just an interactive movie.
Tetris Forever does everything it can to educate fans about the series while also providing a vast library of titles to try. While amazing to play and explore, there are some obvious missing pieces that didn't drop into this puzzler collection.
WWE 2K24 has learned from previous mistakes and improved in many areas that people gave the series grief over in the last release. It isn't perfect and needs some fine tuning in a few areas, but its a major step up from where they were.
Firefighting Simulator - The Squad for the Nintendo Switch is the same game from PC, but with some obvious downgrades. It's fine if the Switch is all you have for gaming and you want to play it, but the PC version is better.
AEW: Fight Forever is the wrestling video game we wanted for over 20 years and no one wanted to make until now. Everything about it screams N64 nostalgia, but is modern enough and easy enough to learn that anyone can grasp it. Also, hey! Brand new wrestling company to play with, so all new faces to have dream matches with, along with your own creations!
The fun in Puzzle Bobble EveryBubble! isn't in completing the game, although it was satisfying doing it in my spare time over the course of a week.
It's no longer about surviving on your own; it's now time to make a stand against a greater enemy, as Ubisoft has taken the franchise in a new direction with The Settlers: New Allies. One that may very well breathe new life into it for years to come.
