Overall, I quite enjoyed Cult of the Lamb. The individual elements – namely the combat in the procedurally generated dungeons – don’t quite measure up, on their own, to other games that focus solely on that.

Crown Trick has few weaknesses. In fact, my only criticism is that you have a bit too little control over the build, and it relies a little too much on luck when it comes to getting good weapons or suitable relics.

Whoever is interested in the game should be able to endure due to the high difficulty level or have no problem grinding sometimes. In some respects it is unfortunately a step back compared to the predecessors, but the exciting tactical combat system makes the game worthwhile nevertheless. A few minor improvements such as a map in the dungeons and an easier difficulty level would make Bravely Default 2 significantly better.

I wouldn't really recommend the game. Some of it might come down to my expectations—I was hoping for a fun, not overly complex fun racer, but I had little fun with it. If you enjoy complexity in the controls, you might want to check the game out, but once you've mastered the mechanics, it's likely to feel too easy. If you're just there to see the girls or what they get up to, you'd be better off watching an anime series instead.
