Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy opens a new gameplay chapter for Asobo Studio without losing the narrative focus and staging that defined the previous Plague Tale games. The shift toward action won't be to everyone's taste, but it's been executed really well and brings a fresh breeze to the series. Even though the credits roll after 12-14 hours for the campaign (15-20 for completionists), the experience was worth every minute for me, and I'd happily welcome more at this high level.

The atmosphere is great, and the graphics are impressive across all platforms, including the Nintendo Switch 2. With a pleasant playtime of 12 to 15 hours, Duskfade is a great choice for relaxing evenings. Fans of Kingdom Hearts will also pick up on some references and immediately recognize the inspiration. Duskfade doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it’s still fun and brings back memories of the early 2000s—the PlayStation 2 and GameCube era.

First Light is a wonderful action-adventure with a great story, terrific presentation, and just the right mix of action and espionage — one I can easily recommend to any Bond fan, especially if you enjoy linear, narrative-driven games. However, if you're looking for a mechanically demanding, challenging gameplay experience, or expect your choices to carry far-reaching consequences, you won't get your money's worth here.
