The Blood of Dawnwalker is at its best when it trusts its vampire fantasy, its choices, its time limit, and Coen’s internal conflict. It’s not a perfect RPG, but it already has something many games take years to find: an identity of its own.

Welcome to Elderfield’s greatest strength is the way it blends the ordinary with the unsettling. Its farming, strange characters, eerie atmosphere, and mystery work well together, even if the language barrier and RNG-heavy combat can get in the way.
