Gears of War: Ultimate Edition showcases how a remaster should be done by redoing all the cinematics, campaign levels, multiplayer maps and adding a bunch of extra content- all in 1080p at either 30fps or 60fps. It also gives choice and flexibility to the players with the Backwards Compatibility titles, making this the ultimate package for fans and newcomers alike.

Forza Motorsport 6 is the most beautiful, advanced and biggest game Turn 10 Studios have built to-date. Featuring 460 Forzavista cars with fully-detailed cockpits, 26 beautifully-created destinations and new ideas such as Stories of Motorsport, Leagues, Mods and more, Forza Motorsport 6 delivers on value to the player. There's hours of content here for the player to explore and people will fit into the Forza community in different ways.

Destiny: The Taken King makes the Destiny universe worth exploring and finally makes it a fun experience. The endless grinding and vague, confusing storylines are gone. Now we have a clear, understandable and enjoyable storyline with a streamlined levelling-up system.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate is a massive step-up from its predecessor last year. Featuring a vast London set during the Industrial Revolution that players can discover, with eccentric characters you want to learn about, and superb gameplay, Syndicate truly sets the bar for what this series is about.

Halo 5: Guardians tells an epic story, across a vast, epic world and across these environments, players will face epic battles. From a divulging Campaign mode, to epic Multiplayer matches across Arena and Warzone, Halo 5: Guardians is truly the Halo game we've all been waiting for. While it isn't perfect, the experience is incredible.

Need for Speed features a great line-up of cars, backed by the most authentic customization in the history of the franchise. The 'Five Ways to Play' and icons entice you to change up your style as you progress through Ventura Bay. While some issues might be frustrating, such as garage-space, no daytime and frame-rate drops; Ghost Games will hopefully continue to update and enhance Need for Speed in the months to come.

While The Crew always had a solid and ambitious concept, Wild Run brings it to life with updated next-generation graphics, new vehicle specs for drift, dragsters and monster trucks, and even the introduction of motorcycles. While the handling and physics still remains an issue, it shouldn't prevent you from having fun when playing.

Rainbow Six Siege doesn't feel like modern day shooters, instead it's quite different. In some ways, it's refreshing. At other times, it feels like you're either constantly grinding for Renown, or watching a spectate screen.

Resident Evil Zero might have frustrating controls, clunky navigation, and the most punishing inventory system you can find. However, it's HD remaster makes the game look good and the updated controls, while still finicky, still provide an enjoyable gameplay experience.

Street Fighter V is incredibly accessible, meaning that any player can hop on, get to grips with the controls, and have a great time. Competitive and casual players alike will find a home in Street Fighter V's diverse game modes and multiplayer matches. It's been a while coming, but Capcom's brilliant fighting series has finally returned.

Far Cry Primal is without a doubt a step in the new direction for the franchise, telling a violent, but captivating story about the battle of the Wenja and Udam tribes. Despite some repetitive objectives, missions are action-packed and enjoyable, and taming beasts is easily my favourite feature found in Primal.
