The most frustrating thing about playing an indie release like Spheroids is the feeling that the developers were not even attempting to create something fresh or novel.
There is clearly a lot of effort by the development team suffused into the game’s story and it pays off when making way through its varied side-quests
The hand-to-hand combat, which takes up the bulk of gameplay, is simple and brutal
