Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers is a solid addition to the still thin game library of the Nintendo Switch. Sadly though, the new game modes feel sluggish and even flat-out mediocre due to the lack of emotion, making gamers wonder if paying $40 bucks for the experience is actually worth it.

8.3 / 10.0 - Injustice 2

Injustice 2 has everything a sequel should have: the return of the features that seduced the fans in the first place; new ways for gamers to submerge even deeper into the title; and an overall improvement of the visual front. If you loved Injustice, you are a fan of DC and you are looking for a medium to hard fighting experience, then Injustice 2 is perfect for you.

9.5 / 10.0 - Persona 5
Apr 20, 2017

Persona 5 tries to captivate the player in every possible way. Its masterful mix of genres, crisp art style, and music, as well as the glorious game mechanics won't let you drop the controller until the very end. This iteration of the franchise sets a new standard for the JRPG genre and it is, naturally, an excellent addition to the Best of 2017 games list.

8.8 / 10.0 - Nier: Automata
Mar 6, 2017

NieR: Automata is a great game that captures you from the very first moment. The well-rounded combat mechanics, the mystery in its story and an addictive customization system won't let you release the controller, despite some minor imperfections that don't affect the experience in any meaningful way.

8.2 / 10.0 - Dead Rising 4
Dec 6, 2016

Dead Rising 4 is an outstanding iteration: the sense of humor, the blood and Frank West make a comeback and give the series a much needed breath of fresh air. If you are a veteran of the franchise, you may dislike some of the changes at first, but as you play it you will appreciate the irreverence that the series is known for.

Tales from the Borderlands is a good choice if you're looking to get away from the drama and suspense of other Telltale Games titles. Even if you are not a fan of Borderlands, this game will get you a laugh and may even convince you to play the rest of the series to learn the whole story. With each new installment, Telltale seems to learn more and has high expectations for its next game. So far, Tales is one of the best titles from the developer by combining great characters, a good story and moments that will remain in your memory. The ending is somewhat ambiguous, so I feel like a second season may be on the way and I can't wait to get back to Pandora.

‎Rocksteady bids farewell to the Batman franchise with a masterpiece, its best game to date. Each element feels like a love letter to both Batman and the fans, and the amount of fan service is ridiculous; the developers knew how to touch our most sensitive fibers and exploit them to the fullest. ‎‎Batman: Arkham Knight‎‎ is the perfect conclusion of an excellent saga and goes as it came: surprising us and leaving us with great satisfaction. We can only say 'thank you, Rocksteady for letting us be Batman one last time'.‎

7.5 / 10.0 - ScreamRide
Mar 3, 2015

Screamride is simple and a lot of fun, especially for those with patience and desire to design an attraction. Testing and playing with the default mountains is fun, but there is nothing like exploding your creativity and building an attraction from scratch. The future of this title is promising, but the community will decide if the creation of attractions will pay off. If you are looking for fun without ties and put your imagination to the test, do not hesitate to give this installment a try and share with the world the roller coaster of your dreams.

‎It is difficult to sum up how vast ‎‎Inquisition‎‎is. If you're a fan of the saga, this installment will restore your faith in BioWare, and if you've never experienced a virtual role-playing game, I invite you to try it out. ‎‎Dragon Age‎‎ is the perfect proof that there are still titles of the genre for audiences looking for real challenges. Get ready, we have a time ahead of us when the RPG can once again be king.‎
