Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the next must have for Nintendo Switch Owners, if you haven't played the Wii U Version. The amount of new characters and race tracks is great and also the new battle modes are finally delivering some variety. If this isn't enough for you, the new multiplayer possibilities with the Switch will surely convince you.

Persona 5 surpasses its predecessors through some well-made changes and makes it way back to the top of the JRPG-Chain. Besides a small feeling of an outdated Gameplay you'll get probably one of the best JRPGs of the last years that even will surprise some of the older Persona Fans. If you haven't got into JRPGs yet: This is your best entry point.

PaRappa the Rapper Remastered is a nice but short nostalgia trip for Fans of Rhythm games, if you can live with a good amount of input lag. The improved framerate and optical changes are still a nice add-on if the technical handicap doesn't bother you.

The Ringed City is not quite the conclusion of the series that fans would've wished for but besides a weak first hour, Souls Fans will get a good portion of challenging enemies and varying places that will entertain you even beyond new game+ for several hours.

Sniper Elite 4 improves on the right parts and offers new gameplay-possibilities for Stealth-Action combined with a thoughtful enemy AI. Only the story of the game doesn't convinced us that much and the multiplayer-part definitely needs more players to lower the waiting time.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is an action-packed parody of the previous titles. Besides countless technical issues it feels like the developers really don't know where to take the series. If you're looking for a thrilling story or thoughtful dialogues, you'll probably be disappointed. Action-Fans will still get some carefully thought out Gameplay-mechanics and a fun multiplayer-part.

NieR: Automata is one of the biggest surprises so far in 2017. Besides some excellent combat mechanics and the usual Platinum Games Style you get a deep story with some great twists and an amazing soundtrack. The game doesn't make it easy for beginners to get into the mechanics and story but we still recommend to everyone to try it out.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is wasting a promising setting and a great weapons arsenal for a repetitive and faulty Co-Op Open World Sandbox. The countless Missions don't use the full potential you could get out of the great equipment and tools the Game has to offer.

Snipperclips is besides Breath of the Wild the first must-buy title for the Nintendo Switch. For less than $20 you get countless hours of innovative puzzle fun with up to 4 players.

Despite a weak performance on the TV and some unimaginative Riddles, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild presents itself as probably the best launch title of the current console generation. The enormous open world leaves little to be desired and the main quests will surely entertain you over 10-15 hours.

Horizon: Zero Dawn combines a fresh setting with some of the best parts that were already established by some Open-World Games and on top of that, it looks amazing. Besides a weak enemy AI and some minor animation issues you get one of the best action-rpgs of the last years.

Halo Wars 2 is a big step forward compared its predecessor. It still misses to use the full potential of the halo universe due to bad voice acting and sloppy character models but it's still the best RTS-Game so far for consoles.

For Honor developed from a promising concept to a sloppy execution in the final version. The Story misses some depth and it's still questionable if the game offers some long-term motivation in the Multiplayer-Part.

Besides some technical flaws and a bit repetitive gameplay, Yakuza Zero is still probably the best entry point to the Yakuza series for newcomers.

NioH surpasses all expectations and offers the optimal mix out of the previous Team Ninja titles and the Dark Souls series.

After Cyber Sleuth this really feels like a big step back for the Digimon Series. Besides caring for the needs of your digimon, the game doesn't really offer anything for JRPG-Fans and also delivers a really empty world.

Lethal VR is a short fun for Fans of shooting ranges but the lack of content and optimization of the PS VR Version makes this game really hard to recommend.

Resident Evil 7 doesn't reinvent the Wheel but delivers enough gameplay Features and Horror-Elements to get Oldschool Fans back to the series. It's also probably the best PlayStation VR Game so far.

Tales of Berseria mostly takes you too much by the Hand but you still get an amazing Story (as usual for the series) and some well balanced gameplay elements

Maize falls a bit short and doesn't really offer that much of a challenge but it's still one of the funniest Adventures I've ever played.
