Boris Bulj's Reviews

With an unhealthy obsession with Coffee and Gaming, Boris uses his obsessions to fuel his passion for the gaming community. An avid fan of First Person Shooters, RPGs, if it's got explosions he's playing it. Most likely drinking coffee and playing an FPS right now :)

9 / 10.0 - Far Cry 5
Apr 5, 2018

The best thing we can say about Far Cry 5 is that it is one of the most entertaining sandbox survival adventures in the franchise. Montana is a gorgeous slice of new terrain that is fraught with peril and the road ahead that Far Cry Arcade represents is exciting, to say the least. Simply put, the fifth version in Ubisoft’s series of madness, freedom, and exploration is Far Cry perfected.

f you have never played Shadow of the Colossus when it originally launched way back in 2005 on PS2 or when it’s PS3 HD remaster arrived in 2011, then you still have another chance to play it, this time on the PS4 from 6 February. With the power of the PS4, it makes the best use of HDR, it’s simply stunning and beautiful cinematic scenes makes this a must-have game of 2018.

Electronic Arts and developer Ghost Games took a break from the Need for Speed series last year because of various negative feedback and the Need for Speed team decided to go back to the drawing board. Payback features the largest open world than any of the previous Need for Speeds has seen and includes different varieties of racing. The most noticeable change to the 2017 version is the revenge-driven story, which almost mimics car racing movies like Gone in 60 seconds and Fast and the Furious.

Gran Turismo Sport is the most realistic online racing experience at the moment, it is also more geared for esports racing and also includes the ability to achieve a real FIA license, which is quite insane if you think about it. GT Sport provides all the tools to turn players into real racing drivers. There is enough content for driving mastery in the game, but the lack of tracks and the need to always be online is a little irritating, but if you have a solid internet connection then this will be a blast for you. Overall this is an excellent addition to an already amazing Gran Turismo franchise.

7 / 10.0 - WWE 2K18
Oct 21, 2017

WWE 2K18 is an improvement over the previous iterations, from the core gameplay, graphics, and creation tools giving wrestling fans the full experience. However, the game has some excellent ideas that were not executed properly. MyCareer, Road to Glory, and Universe Mode are all fantastic features that if developer Yukes made perfect would make a major difference to the WWE franchise.

8.7 / 10.0 - Destiny 2
Sep 24, 2017

Destiny 2 has blasted its predecessor away with the powerful story missions that provide meat to the game and makes all the content you play a more enjoyable experience. As with the previous game, loot is the key to survival and Bungie have added more ways to obtaining loot for your Guardian and makes the adventure even sweeter. Destiny 2 achieves exactly what the fans wanted, a vast improvement on the previous games mechanics and overall story. Credit is due to developers Bungie and publishers Activision for making sure the fans grievances were heard and understood so we applaud them for keeping the fans and customers happy.

When Nathan ended his expeditions in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, most of us thought well Ok time for us to see what Naughty Dog was going to do with the series, and this is the result, a full Uncharted experience, yes the gameplay is similar however the developers took their time with the overall research of the history of the Indian culture and enhanced the story and narrative that just makes this a standalone title from Naughty Dog that we highly recommend.

Whether you are a newcomer or veteran in the Dirt Rally series Dirt 4 is the apex in RallyCross racing. When you look back to Dirt Rally there were a few flaws that you would think would be ironed out and additional features added, well  Dirt 4 does that spectacularly well while also making it enjoyable for the newcomers who are on a journey to being fearless. Dirt 4 has redefined rally games, not sure if Codemasters know how high they set the bar now :)
