Unscored - Putty Pals

One of the delights about the Nintendo Switch is being able to see opportunities for independent developers to take a small aspect of the technology and Harmonious Games have really taken the Switch’s objectives to heart – bringing some people together to just play a game and have a good time. Putty Pals is, simply put, syrupy goodness from a local Australian publisher who is obviously doing additional research into the impact of too much saccharine on the general populace.

The combat mechanics make sense right from the start, which is refreshing for an RPG, but they are further complimented with an element of strategy to make Lacrimosa of Dana shine.

Unscored - Puyo Puyo Tetris

I can pick it up invaluable minutes of spare time, play in friendly bouts with others, or be seriously engaged and strategic – either on a large screen or on a tablet. It does not feel as if anyone is significantly disadvantaged in how they choose to approach Puyo Puyo Tetris, and that is something that I haven’t said about many games recently that have tried to balance the solo/co-op/online experience.
