Assassin's Creed Odyssey maintains the fluid and much loved gameplay providing us with the biggest open world yet, glorious graphics and the return of naval combat. However, the shameless use of microtransactions, frustrating grind and uninteresting characters make Odyssey more of a chore to play than others in the series.

A great entry into an already beloved franchise, Mario Tennis Aces introduces a brand new tennis mechanic that although is difficult to master, superb visuals and a brand new adventure mode. However, those gamers looking to play this solo will struggle to find anything worthwhile due to the huge focus of both online and local multiplayer.

Ubisoft have done a fantastic job of bringing another instalment in the series back to our consoles. However, the short single player campaign and relatively empty game world that pales in comparison to other entries in the series hampers the progression of one the series' most interesting characters.

A fantastic addition to anyone’s gaming collection, South Park: The Fractured But Whole is as laugh out loud funny as it is offensive, featuring a brand new combat system, a gripping storyline and with a surprising amount of replay value. However, The Fractured But Whole can often be confusing and will sometimes feel repetitive.

What WWE 2K18 gives you is a game that is enjoyable enough to dip in and out of, but if you are looking for an engaging career mode, then I would advise looking at another game. Despite the fantastic graphics and new game engine, WWE 2K18 is lacking in almost every other aspect. With drastic changes to both the Career Mode and the Universe mode, it feels like WWE 2K18 is more of a chore to play than its predecessors.
