8 / 10 - Shu
Feb 3, 2018

Shu is a short but magnificent game, one which grabs the player from the beginning all the way to its marvelous final level. A platfomer with a steep but fair difficulty curve that never suffers from a boring moment, Shu also features an exquisite audiovisual environment and is more than certain to appeal to a wide variety of players. Truly a work to discover.

The Lion's Song brings a point and click style adventure to the Nintendo Switch catalogue, which is unusual by itself. Thanks to its storytelling qualities (which are stunning), variety of characters and quality soundtrack, The Lion's Song stands out as an example of what can be done even with a relatively simple game.

The Inner World - The Last Wind Monk takes several steps further than its predecessor and lands on the Nintendo Switch as a sequel that is full of places and moments to explore. Thanks to its creative puzzles, quality writing, sense of humour and plot elements, the players will find a lot to go around in this game, and the additional touch screen interaction adds it an additional welcome element that makes the game all more enjoyable.

With its very well written plot and concept that will easily find echoes with the minds of the players, this is a game that encourages exploration and identification with oneself and even if the combats could be more compelling and the price seems high, The Longest Five Minutes is without a doubt a very positive contribution to the catalog of the Nintendo Switch.

7 / 10 - Grid Mania
Apr 27, 2018

Grid Mania features a good quality-price relationship, further cemented by its level design and simplicity. At the same time, the game feels like it lacks ambition as it does not go as far as it could and while simplicity is usually welcome, Grid Mania feels like it could have gone for more and it could have had a greater impact.

6 / 10 - Azkend 2
Jan 25, 2018

Azkend 2: The World Beneath is a puzzle game with a varied assortment of levels and simple gameplay mechanics. It's fairly easy to get into and it ensures that most players can get into quickly but on the other hand, its lifespan is way too short and it's impossible not to feel frustrated at certain moments due to the random nature of the puzzle pieces distribution.

5 / 10 - Earth Wars
Feb 22, 2018

Earth Wars features some fun moments, such as the boss fights, as well as enjoyable gameplay mechanics. Pity that it doesn't fully live up to its potential, due to rather dull missions, a somewhat generic plot and cutscenes that bring very little to the game itself. These elements end up obscuring the decent gameplay, which ends up harming Earth Wars more than it should.
