9 / 10.0 - Dead Cells
Oct 4, 2018

The versatility and flexibility of each run, with its incredible visuals, fluid combat and an extremely satisfying sense of progression make Dead Cells a must play game.

8.5 / 10.0 - Void Bastards
Oct 31, 2019

Void Bastards is definitely worth a try. The visual creativity and gameplay make this for a positive experience for casual players, although most rogue-like players will hardly be impressed. Despite the low replay value, the first 8 to 10 hours of the game are some of the best experiences we've had this year.

8 / 10.0 - Horizon Zero Dawn
Dec 13, 2018

Horizon Zero Dawn is an impressive entry this generation. The PS4's capabilities are pushed to its maximum, accompanied by an excellent writing and game design, Guerrilla Games' newest title shines with its gameplay and worldbuilding, even though there's some fixes to be made, especially on quests and the main story. With a sequel probably coming on the PS5, the IP's future looks promising.

Thronebreaker is CDPR's first non traditional RPG. The studio knew how to capitalize their abilities creating an interactive narrative experience with a cativating plot and characters, and a deep, well designed card game as its core. 7.5 / 10.0 - Megaquarium
Sep 13, 2018

Megaquarium is far from perfect. Yet it's still one of the best sims out there right now. The freedom of the sandbox mode - opposed to its restrictive campaign - and the fluid gameplay keep the game fresh for hours. Although the AI and UI can be disruptive at times.

7.5 / 10.0 - The Outer Worlds
Apr 15, 2020

The Outer Worlds does a good job at filling the gap left by the Fallout series after its recent controversies. The game shines in its roleplay and dialogue. I loved every second I spent on Halycon, but I can't help but feel that there's an untapped potential the developers could've put more time into. Hopefully a possible sequel should raise the quality of many of its aspects, especially the narrative and combat.

The Spectrum Retreat is a fun game that doesn't outstay its welcome. The failed attempt to reconcile the narrative and gameplay aspects may leave the player seeing each as an obstacle. The voice acting, soundtrack, and visuals are well executed but not enough to elevate the game quality.
