The formula works and is fun, even if it begs for a little more interaction. One of the best installments of the anthology so far.

Fun, addictive and mysterious. It superbly mixes concepts from card games with roguelike and escape rooms. A continuous surprise that sneaks among the most interesting independent games of the year.

The Good Life is a play by Swery, for better and for worse. His personality emanates and shares particularities: outdated technical and mechanical problems, but with that magical aura. If you like the author, jump in without fear. Important: it is not translated into Spanish.

Metroid Dread is pure love for the franchise. It takes the elements of the classic 2D games and unites them with the evolving essence of Metroid Fusion, introducing many others that work perfectly. It doesn't give off such a magical aura and there are things to improve, but it establishes itself as one of the best games on the console.

Diablo 2: Resurrected is pure nostalgia, but one that does not disappoint. A fantastic remastering work, which respects to the maximum consequences the essence of the original game. That is the only one that new players will find: a hard experience that shows the passage of time.

FIFA 22 incorporates enough novelties in its game system to vary the rhythm of the matches and improve the experience. A great simulator, punctuated by the importance of microtransactions and the absence of major developments in its different modalities.

NBA 2K22 continues to set the standard for gameplay, with changes this year that ensure a much more realistic and satisfying pace of play. But it's the same old story: it's one of the most aggressive games in the industry when it comes to micropayments, and its star modes can't be enjoyed unless you're willing to pay.

Inglés (EE.UU.) Road 96 becomes, thanks to its fine writing and its ability to make you think and reflect, one of the best independent video games of 2021. An excellent journey of encounters with your ideals and, above all, with those of others. NEO: The World Ends With You is the sequel that fans of the original game have been waiting for. However, being so continuist in its combat and exploration system makes it feel like a game out of time, which could have done much better with a deeper revamp. Losing the Nintendo DS touch screen also hurts its combat. Its beauty and visual personality at all times, along with a colorful story and characters, will make you fall in love and always want to know more.

Death's Door is one of the indie surprises of the year. Very well designed, melancholic and challenging, without being difficult. It knows how to transfer the essence of games like Dark Souls and Zelda in a delicious isometric perspective, with well-designed puzzles and a very well measured combat. Acid Nerve has done its homework.

Expand and improve what was seen in the first installment, with greater visual maturity and small modifications in battles. Extremely deep, its superb turn-based combat and depth will hook you if you are able to get into its replay and egg collection dynamic.

Mario Golf: Super Rush is a good return, very fun and fulfilling for the game with friends and online competition. It's a shame that he remains somewhat bland alone, with a story mode that is no more than compliant.

Scarlet Nexus is a huge surprise. His combat is wonderful and his story, despite having less inspired moments, knows how to generate interest. The differences between the two protagonists and the surprises are enough to please any fan of the genre.

A continuist sequel but that knows how to add what is necessary and incorporate new ideas. It's true that the greater breadth of its maps is not fully exploited and that wanting to make a longer game by repeating situations and enemies turn virtue into routine, but Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is a great PS5 game, very fun and recommended.

Continuist sequel that fans of the first game will appreciate. A unique experience at its highest difficulty levels when we have the sniper rifle in our hands, and another more traditional and less inspired in the rest.

Necromunda: Hired Gun tries, but stays there. If you are a lover of the genre, its gunplay and mobility will be interesting for you to enjoy its combats, when the game is left.

New Pokémon Snap is ideal for fans of the franchise and the creatures that can finally be seen in their true wild state. It's fun and satisfying, especially seeing how the routes change periodically and having to adapt to their circumstances. But it leaves a feeling of emptiness: their world and the tools available could have been used much better.

Returnal mixes the peculiarities of roguelike with continuous progress that rewards the efforts and dedication of the player, with an enigmatic story that will keep us prisoners of that house that we will visit (or not) in each new attempt. Perhaps it fails in trying to offer an experience like infinite roguelike.

Outriders is much more than meets the eye. People Can Fly have done a superb job to deliver a self-sustaining looter shooter that manages to come up with some great ideas.
