In a few words, Demon's Souls should accompany every PlayStation 5 if its owner is able and willing to invest in it, both mentally and physically.
For those who have not played it, it is one of the best action games of the last years and if you enjoy a good story, great soundtrack and addictive gameplay, then buying it is essential.
If you are not bothered by the gameplay which is not perfect as with let’s say a Mario release, then this is a game that not a single fan of platformers should miss.
The change of direction seems to be paying off and Valhalla is forming a new basis for future titles in the series.
Its only cons are the substantially long duration (the many side missions) and the lack of mechanisms that would justify a second playthrough.
The aesthetics remind us of cheap kids’ animation, while the exaggeration in the design of almost everything (character models, sound, dialogues, plot) is very evident.
