3 / 10.0 - Poker Club
Dec 16, 2021

Poker Club on Nintendo Switch does a good job at providing a truly immersive poker simulation. Unfortunately the entire package of Poker Club isn't great. The incredibly poor AI will teach you nothing in offline mode and the overall slowness of all action makes for a boring experience. Playing online is even worse, as players can take an impossibly long amount of time on each turn. It's just painfully slow enough that you'd likely be better off just playing poker in real life.

8 / 10.0 - Loop Hero
Dec 9, 2021

While it's reliance on randomness can make the game annoying at times, Loop Hero is a rare treat Switch owners should check out. It's unique blend of RPG adventure and deck building mechanics provide you with a gaming experience you won't find elsewhere. It's addicting gameplay loop keep you going back for more and constantly making you say "just one more turn."

6 / 10.0 - World War Z
Nov 22, 2021

World War Z is another example of an impressive "I can't believe they got that on Switch" game. The entire experience is fully fit onto the Switch, with tons of zombies on screen and plenty of action all around. World War Z suffers from being very repetitive and, at times, boring, with a story that is fairly generic and uninteresting. It's also less fun to play alone than it is to play with friends. That said, if you're looking for a decent zombie shooter than will technically impress, then World War Z may be your game.

6 / 10.0 - Space Crew
Nov 16, 2021

Space Crew: Legendary Edition falls into the category of a "certain type of game for a certain type of player." If you haven't played a challenging space sim, then I really don't think Space Crew is for you. It's hard and very unforgiving, with lots of systems you need to understand and control. However, if you're someone who loves challenging space sims and you're looking for something new to play on your Nintendo Switch, then Space Crew: Legendary Edition is likely a decent game you'll enjoy. It really depends on the type of player you are.

Crysis Remastered Trilogy on Nintendo Switch is an absolute must play experience. The Crysis games were already fantastic first person shooters and the remastered experience on Switch is a sight to behold. All 3 games have been updated to look and run amazingly well and playing in handheld mode will genuinely blow you away.

4 / 10.0 - Project Winter
Oct 22, 2021

Project Winter is a great game concept that you can clearly see how the game is supposed to work. Yet  the game was ruined by bad lobbies and awful players. While this is not the game's fault on its own but rather its player based Project Winter is a game that can't really be recommend you go out and purchase, unless you have four other friends that want to play with you. As a solo experience, there are much more enjoyable multiplayer games you can jump into on Nintendo Switch.

7.5 / 10.0 - NBA 2K22
Oct 7, 2021

NBA 2K22 is another good entry in the fantastic NBA 2K series. Its reworked shooting mechanics, impressive visuals on Switch, and loads of NBA content will keep any basketball fan's attention for hours on end. While many modes received no noticeable additions, and there's a heavy desire for spending money on microtransactions, NBA 2K22 is still a must-play for Switch basketball fans.
