Stalker 2 features a stunning world, supported by Unreal Engine 5, where the freedom of exploration and survival mechanics stand out. However, it suffers from technical problems, poorly structured missions, and problematic artificial intelligence. The launch was obviously rushed.

Black Ops 6 has a solid foundation, with a robust Zombies mode and a campaign that it sought to revamp, but fails to capitalize on this opportunity due to the disaggregation of the multiplayer mode, which is jeopardized by inadequate map design and the abusive implementation of SBMM and EOMM.

This remake revisits the original classic, preserves the psychological horror elements and intensifies the player's emotional experience. Bloober Team has exceeded expectations by creating a version that maintains the game's legacy and takes it to new heights. The remake features fluid gameplay, organically integrated puzzles and reworked enemies for greater impact.

Until Dawn is a remake that modernizes the original, with a visual reconstruction that intensifies the emotional connection with the characters. Although it has technical problems, such as frame drops, the dynamics of the choices keep the player immersed in the story.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is an improved remake of the 2010 classic, now available for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Switch. It retains the original charm, with graphical improvements and new mechanics, but could have made more use of the visual potential and challenged players more.

The Sky Breaker is a DLC that does not bring any significant improvement to the gaming experience. It just adds missions that are essentially a copy of those already in the base game, adapted to a new narrative line that, in practice, is not particularly inspiring.

The truth is, I'm a little confused as to the purpose of this new Alone in the Dark. From an investigative point of view, it's well-balanced, but there's no trace of the series' signature horror formula, let alone any element of survival. On top of that, it doesn't bring anything new to the genre. It's an emotionless experience that seems to use the franchise's name only as a strategy to attract players looking for novelties in the genre. Alone in the Dark deserved better, and Pieces Interactive obviously couldn't get the job done.

Skull and Bones, unfortunately, doesn't offer much more than a disappointing experience. Ubisoft insisted on a project that, from the beginning, lacked the necessary elements to result in a satisfactory final product. The result is in many ways embarrassing: it turns out to be one of the most boring games I've tried in recent years. Most of the time is spent in a never-ending search for resources to improve our boat, an activity so monotonous that the desire to return is practically nil.

In short, Helldivers 2 presents itself as a cooperative shooter with the potential to attract at first impulse. With multiple layers of fun, especially when played with friends, it offers some entertaining moments. However, the flaws remain evident, from a variety of technical issues to a lack of long-term content. It is possible to quickly reach the saturation point, and it doesn't take many hours for this to happen. It seems clear that the game wasn't ready to launch, lacking more polish and content, something that we hope will be resolved in the near future.

This was a journey full of ups and downs while exploring Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. At first, the experience proved to be discouraging with a disconcerting entrance, but along the way it proved to be fun, having won me over with the visual exuberance of the scenarios, the game mechanics and the freedom to move around the map. However, the disappointment ended up being felt in the final part, with a poorly constructed ending, especially due to the poor quality of the cinematic scenes, something that should be at a higher level for such a reputable franchise.

Modern Warfare 3 isn't a bad game per se, there's just the very concrete idea that it's not a game built from scratch, but built on top of MW2 and shuffled over again. These are mere visual notes and changes to some mechanics that give it a marginally different image, it's not for me a new and complete game, it's more of an extra component of last year's work. It was enough to have been put out here as additional content where the highlight would be the Zombies mode and the tiny campaign of just over 3 hours. Those who own MW2 don't have much appeal to buy it here, unless they are unconditional fans of the Zombies.

Alan Wake 2 is, without a doubt, a good game, which could reach an even higher level if some issues related to the pacing of the narrative were resolved. There are times when the progression of the story seems artificially prolonged, which can affect the immersion of those who experience it. In addition, issues related to inconsistent performance on PC should have been addressed before launch. However, despite these problems, Alan Wake 2 is a well-worthwhile experience, with a fascinating psychological narrative and incredible visuals.

At the end of the day, what really matters in a video game is the fun it provides, and that's precisely what The Crew Motorfest offers in abundance. Here competition is a real pleasure, and the simplicity of the challenges is the essence of everything. It's simply about enjoying the driving and what the game has to offer, without unnecessary complexities.

I share my love of science fiction, and Starfield was that game I looked forward to. Maybe my expectations were too high, I fully believed that they would be able to fulfill the promises made when the game was released so many years ago. However, what has been delivered seems to be more of a demonstration of ambition than an actual ability to deliver. Sure, Starfield has its merits, there are notable moments in the game, but in the end, I can't help but feel like the promise wasn't completely fulfilled, and that's undeniable.

Immortals of Aveum is a conjunction of excellent ideas, from its narrative with hints of humor, which amuses and moves in the final stretch, through a gameplay with good mechanics and a huge abundance of playable options. A bit slow in developments in the initial phase, but that accelerates to a positivity of final events that captivated me. Were it not for this final acceleration in which it highlights what is good here, we would be facing a work with only a few good ideas. It was about 16 hours of gameplay, including explorations beyond the main narrative. Perhaps a sequel can finally tap into its full potential.

F1 23 is a good effort on Codemasters' part, in a franchise that is released year after year. It is a complicated task to implement major novelties in just 12 months, but this time it was noticed that they struggled. We have a more desirable Braking Point 2, an F1 World full of competitions and challenges, and the implementation of the Super License and Tech Level that give the depth that was missing. Those who feared the possibility of this being just a year dedicated to updating the drivers and cars, can rest assured. This season is one of the best of recent times in the universe of virtual Formula 1 racing.

Miasma Chronicles was my first experience of the workings of this studio, somewhat a disappointment after learning how good Mutant Year Zero was. It is a fact that it has its moments, but they are insufficient to convince and highlight it as a way of walking in the improvement that has already been achieved. If you like these games you will have an interesting challenge here, but be aware of the gaps evident in several fundamental points.

No Recommendation / Blank - Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores
Apr 20, 2023

There is not much more to say about Burning Shores, it is a content with interest, worth above all for the visual spectacle that Guerrilla Games once again managed to deliver and the new gameplay possibilities. Its narrative is somewhat forced, with somewhat debatable revelations and even a lost form in the relationships between characters. I would appreciate more depth so that I cared more about the choices introduced. It's obviously imperative for anyone who loved Forbidden West.

No Recommendation / Blank - The Last of Us Part I
Mar 30, 2023

Too bad even the technical problems reported, this conversion deserved a very different release, it should be the culmination of the franchise and a launching pad for its third chapter. It is somewhat strange that it has been released in this state, it is curious to know what happened. Removing this great obstacle, The Last of Us Part I PC remains a must-see for those who have never played the original and even for those who have not yet made the leap to this remake. But at this point, I recommend waiting for the updates promised by Naughty Dog.
