How and expansion should be handled. Adds a dynamic new area and challenging new enemies and bosses. Also adds a compelling amount of lore for those who seek it. Absolutely essential if you enjoyed the base game.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
In almost all ways this is an improvement over the original game. It's more gripping, wacky and meditative. If you've been hesitant I recommend playing the Director's Cut of the first game and then giving this a whirl as soon as you can. One of 2025's best games.

Almost flawless execution, this game was a trip down memory lane for sure. It's another game that I think will see the benefit of time and thoughtful patches from the devs as there are certainly some bugs and kinks to iron out, but right now there isn't a better way
