Is it generic? Yes! Does it take most of its ideas and elements from other games? Yes! Is it grindy? Yes! Does it have a great overarching story? No! It's all of those things and more, but, does it look good? most certainly yes, the environments are interesting and look great. Is the gunplay good? Yup, guns are responsive, varied. And most of all, is it fun? Yes. Its a bunch of fun either with friends, or just randoms. Its never going to win game of the year, but as a free-to-play, looter shooter, it does exactly what it sets out to achieve. And for that, it is "mixed, or average"...
