Dreadboi Mafia: Definitive Edition Review

This is a great game that I think works on almost all levels—from the gameplay, to the story, to the acting in the cutscenes, and the graphics, which for its time are very good. With Hangar 13 looking to prove themselves after Mafia III’s reception, I think they did a stand-up job and showed they can make good games, and for a remake, they did the OG Mafia 1 justice.
While there wasn’t much I found bad about this game, if I had to name a few issues, they’d be that the combat wasn’t as fluid as I think it could have been, especially with it following Mafia III. The game also suffers from some bugs that can make missions play worse, and I think the prison is a little unbalanced. Other than those things, my experience and time spent with this game were good ones.
This is a great game, and I give it a 9/10 — excellent.
