Best game ever made by far. It has the best story with the best twists. Best characters and best villans. Best Soundtrack. The Materia and Limit Breaks system are also fantastic. The background is fantastic timeless artworks. 10/10 game in every category.

Easily the best JRPG ever. Play it and don't ask questions.

I know it's sacrilegious to not rate this a 5/5. But 4.5 is close enough. It's a great game for when it was released. It hasn't aged particularly well, but if folks aren't put off by that, it's a good RPG and one of the games that catapulted Final Fantasy

Good even by todays standards. One of the best protagonists ever, and the remake wishes it was just even 1/1000000 as good as this one.
