Absolutely stellar successor. You ought to play Hades 1 first (as this game's narrative and world builds upon the results of that game) but on a gameplay and design level this is a clean and phenomenal direct successor.
It again gives you a host of weapons, a host of upgrade options,
Very much like Silksong, a nearly copy pasted game from the previous one and same as any other roguelike we have around these days. Just endless combat, more fun than Silksong but still very repetitive. The Greek mythology aspect can carry you only so far even if it is decently
Hades II improves upon its predecessor in almost every way possible. Supergiant Games (SGG) has really pushed the envelope in terms of the rogue-like genre. They have build a finely crafted experience that surpasses hades 1. The gameplay is more fun and engaging, the combat is more enjoyable and has
GOTY. Melhoraram tudo desde o primeiro game, jogabilidade, previsibilidade, diálogos, trilha sonora (sim, até a trilha sonora que já era perfeita melhorou) e os finais épicos e lindos que o jogo proporciona.
A little improvement compared to the first entry. Less frequent visual noise and a bunch of new interesting meta-progression upgrades make for a more appealing experience, but combat encounters and boss designs yet again aren't quite on the level they should be to go well with a game that demands
The pinnacle of the genre, so fun from start to finish. It never gets frustrating, it always pushes you forward. The art style and designs have no competition in their details.
Sensational - improves on the first game pretty much in every aspect. Very high benchmark for what a sequel can and should be.
Got it on Switch 2 and it's amazing. I'm not even good at action games but this game is challenging yet not brutal.
The world is beautiful; combat is satisfying; sound effects, voiceover, music are all top notch. I can't think of any cons for this game yet.
A huge step up from Hades 1 in terms of content, system intricacies, and integration of story mechanics. The upgrade drip is extremely satisfying, making the "one more run" rogue-like experience one of the best ever. Weapons and build variety are a huge improvement from the original as
Adding more flair and depth to the first game in almost every way without making it feel bloated. The rich art and passion are prevalent in every facet of this franchise and shine brightly, culminating in what I consider to be "The Perfect Game".
It's a rogue-like, but with a great story and fantastic music as well. The replay value is almost infinite.
A really disappointing ending for an otherwise good game, the music, the art, the gameplay were really good, but the writing was poor and I thought it was because I mostly played early access, but I finished the game and I didn't like it. The story felt cheap and most
Hades but better. This game is awesome for those who liked the first game and to those who have not it will be a great entry into the rogue lite genre.
Already an incredible game and we haven't even hit the full release. It keeps the same hack and slash enjoyment that its predecessor did and fusing it with double the content. The characters are just as enjoyable as the ones in the first and I cannot wait for the full
