The Roottrees Are Dead
A perfect puzzle experience for me. Part 1 is pristinely balanced from start to finish. The flow of information and clues is weighted to keep you moving forward in the investigation. There probably won't be a better gaming feeling this year then when you lock in correct characters in the

Blue Prince
A unique and awesomely distributed puzzle roguelike. I played this for over 60 hours and I would say the middle 40 were some of the best and most engaging puzzle gameplay I have ever been a part of. The game is not easy on the player or the player's mentality.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
An exemplary and action packed adventure that is more than worthy of its title character's legend. The music, audio design, and voicework is incredible. I really think the entire Vatican sequence stands out as one of the best levels in gaming, My only critique would be the gameplay systems don't build

The Rise of the Golden Idol
Fun, inventive, and mind twisting in all the right ways. Great mystery and world building, very excited for future DLCs.

The Case of the Golden Idol
I think its a little more scattered than the sequel but i still greatly enjoyed the story and setting.

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector
Still love this game and format, although a little less this time around. Moving from station to station was fun although a lot of them are pretty shallow. The contracts are stressful and punishing if you make mistakes or roll bad. The writing is still all time engaging and the character

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Credit to Nintendo for the unique design of the mechanics wrapped in a typically straightforward and bland overhead Zelda game. It does genuinely feel like there are dozens of ways to solve the puzzles here. The presentation, soundtrack, and design all have the top line Nintendo polish. I am still excited

Minishoot' Adventures
A fun streamlined, Zelda, metroidvania, and bullet shell filled adventure. None of the genres are pushed to the limit but they compliment each other well in a fulfilling and fleshed out experience. Played on Steam Deck

Alan Wake 2: The Lake House
Alan Wake II is one of my favorite games of all time. And this side adventure is solid crack at a small story with the Remedy polish. The setting and presentation is still elite and the writing is a little below my standard for them but well worth the short

Silent Hill 2
Undoubtedly a true success and a scary and faithful adaptation. I would probably say it is the scariest game i have ever played, the prison alone alone is a genre defining sequence in survival horror setting and ambience. This is definitely not breaking any new grounds in any of its gameplay

Neva
A simple game with some gorgeous designs and visuals, I needed a little bit more from the action and platforming to fully love it but it was well crafted and effective.

Keep Driving
Enjoyed this almost all the way till I rolled credits, but I definitely did not feel the need to play multiple playthroughs to see the endings. It reminds me of a board game with its layout and even its gameplay. The writing and setting is awesome I just wish it

Monster Hunter Wilds
Most of my negative thoughts are associated with the story being a complete throwaway. The action and set pieces are fun even though the game can feel repetitive for sure, especially with the monsters fleeing in an eventual circle and ending up right where the fight started. I appreciate the

Avowed
I enjoyed this a lot through the first few zones but it really does lose steam by final zone and its climax. There is some great writing in the side quests and with some of the characters, but the main quest is bogged down by some really over expository dialogue

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
Its fun to play when it works, had a lot of technical issues with the framerate and grouping up with friends. In modern gaming its one of the clunkier ways to group up and play. I like the playstyle of the combat but was getting sick of the repetitive enemy types

Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist
A deep and and fun metroidvania with quick and intense combat encounters. I am not going to say the platforming as anything special in the genre. The visuals and scenery are gorgeous and I wish the story could back it up some.

Dead Letter Dept.
An awesome premise and design, want to look up the other endings cause I am not sensing it would be that fun to replay.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
Multiplayer only: The multiplayer is a big step up from the previous titles. Its not fun on Xbox to go against 90% PC players, especially with the cracked movement update in this one. The gunplay is tight, the maps are kind of cramped and scattered as usual, wish there was more

The Jackbox Survey Scramble
A fun party pack, some of the games are definitely throwaways. My playgroup mostly stuck to the Hi-Lo and the Squares game modes. Its fun and silly and a good party game to kill some time and have fun with friends.

Marvel Rivals
An acceptable Hero shooter, it doesn't come anywhere near the highs of OG Overwatch for me in terms of design or gameplay. But a welcome easy shooter you can ease in and out of in your spare time.
