The game is in a great technical state and the combat is deeply enjoyable, but its problems lie at its core.
The entire backbone of this story is completely rotten. The pacing is abysmal. The tone is off. This is not a Dragon Age game. It's a game that was developed
Dragon Age: Veilguard Review: A Thrilling World Held Back by Repetitive Storytelling
Dragon Age: Veilguard offers an experience that shines with its captivating combat and richly detailed world, but is somewhat dulled by its repetitive storytelling. After spending about 30 hours exploring the PS5 version, here’s my take on what works
Pros: Real polished game at launch, Beauty Cons: Cant role. Your character is already designed. I did three runs on DA2. Once as an anarkist magenand other as an authoritan templar. Cant do this here.
After spending 92 hours with Dragon Age: The Veilguard, the irrevocable truth is that its a disappointing misstep. What was once a franchise celebrated for its deep storytelling and memorable characters now feels hollow and uninspired.
Gameplay is OK. Story sometimes is correct and other times feels like it's written by AI and validated by an 8 yr old with HR behind his back. Pros: Gameplay, Visual Cons: Story, Poor dialogue option, Quests, Qunari looks weirds
- Fun combat with more depth than it appears on first sight
- Strong story
- Story has many callbacks to previous title and goes deep with lore, much deeper than anticipated
- Companions are very well written
- The Character Creator is great, offers ton of different options, especially the morphing feature is
It is not perfekt but I really Like the Combat and also Exploration (at the point it opens up more).
Dialoge ist not as bad as some wants to picture it. Most of the conversations are jut normal without forcing you into cringe options. A bit too nice overall but rest
I threw in the towel after 5 hours. This is not for me, I'm not a zoomer with a 3 second attention span that needs flashy lights and colours to keep me focused or information being simplified and endlessly repeated for me to have it in my short term memory
If you grasp the essence of what Dragon Age: Veilguard strives to be—an action RPG (ARPG), more in the line of adventure game, that focuses heavily on Rook's story. The The game's writing seamlessly aligns with the more lighthearted spirit of Thedas. The story prioritizes narrative depth over gratuitous darkness.
Very disapointed by too much woke... It is not normal in dark fantasy universe. I did not like the DA anymore.
Decent gameplay, but the writing is terrible, the character designs are terrible, the character creator is terrible.
Best dragon age and best bioware game in general and that comes from a ride or die mass effect 2 fan. There isn't anything I didn't like
“Sacred 3 del 2024” non trovo altre parole per descrivere un trauma come questo e per l’aver creato la lapide funeraria di una saga con titoli precedenti di livelli cosi alti. Una saga distrutta. Una narrazione profonda completamente snaturata, diventando una storiella banale, infantile e mal scritta. La mitologia e
