This is not Fragon Age at all - awful story, Disney like style, agenda.
"Dragon Age: The Veilguard" had potential but ultimately falls short on multiple fronts. The dialogue lacks the depth and wit we've come to expect from a Dragon Age game.
Many exchanges feel forced, often leaning on clichés rather than providing meaningful interactions, which undermines character development and makes it hard
Just meh. A very weak story. Seems more like a mobile RPG than a full game. Back to Elden Ring I go....
The feeling is made worse when seeing the amount of potential that was just washed down the drain on this one. Could've been a 9/10, but thanks to current day BioWare, it's only that if you work at IGN.
As a big fan of DA:O, this game is an insult to the fans to the great franchise to good doctors founders of Bioware and to me personally, vote with your wallets boys. Pros: apparently ending is ok but you have to go through 50h of sludge to get there
Game of the year for me, I don't care about the culture war brainrot.
This is exactly what we didnt want from a game. Too much propaganda, its too soft and the writing is actually terrible. Dot not buy and wait for it to come to ps plus or xbox game pass. Pros: graphics, performance Cons: art style, Cant make a real
For me this game is my GOTY, I love the graphics, the story and the lore. And the combat for me is the main character aspect, it makes so much fun. I don't understand the woke complaining cause Dragon Age is known for it. I have fun with this game
A total mess of a game doing away with the dark fantasy themes of the original games, in favor of a rudimentary seminar on modern day social politics.
Awful art style, a constant bloom effect that makes most cutscenes look like a telenovela, amateurish camera work & lighting setup clearly done
Average action RPG with a mediocre story.
Terrible Dragon Age game that forgets all the choices you've made previously and lore dumps for the first 4 hours to catch people up.
Massive disappointment for Dragon Age fans.
First timers will probably enjoy it alot more. Pros: Graphics, Stability, Character creator Cons: Dialogue, Previous
Nice combat
Not interesting story, heroes, world building
This is not rpg
This is not Dragon Age
This is not BioWare that we loved Pros: Nice combat, Great directing of cutscense Cons: Not interesting story, Not interesting heroes, Not interesting world building
Terrible game. Avoid at all costs. Played all other DA titles the day of release and regretted this immediately. Poor gameplay, crappy story, no ability to roleplay the way I want. Combat style sucks too. Disgrace to the series….
Combat had potential, but the lack of enemy variety and difficulty makes it boring.
Dialogue is bad, especially compared to Origins. Every conversation feels like you're on guardrails. The fact that you can barely be evil in this game is a massive disappointment. Rook is nothing compared to the Greywarden in
I thought I'm gonna like it. Look I don't have pronounce problem or anything LGBQT or C++ dang. But this game is obviously focus on their politics than creating a great game. For this one I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. To be honest I like it to fail because other
The writing is one of the most painful I have ever see in a game, actually painful! I felt pain hearing the dialogue, also there's no actual conflict between the MC and any companion in this game. Combat is ok but I dread the parts when there is any lore
The Veilguard does not respect the Dragon Age IP.
Poor writing, there are no real choices, everything leads to the same.
It is no longer dark fantasy.
Stripped down combat and added more flashy show compared to Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Bad loot system and bad puzzle design.
