Story and visuals are stunning. Exploration is fun. You wont lose yourself in a open world but a lot of fun stuff to do. Combat and music are addicting.
The most amazing combat in any turn-based game so far. Parrying feels so satisfying. Some attacks are only jumpable just like in Sekiro sweeping attacks. The whole combat system just feels amazing. And the turn-based element you learn to play really fast when you learn the flow with each character,

This game looks and runs great, has an incredible story, an innovative turn-based gameplay style with emphasis on dodging and parrying eneny attacks, a beautiful soundtrack, memorable and well acted characters... I don't think I have anything negative to say, which says a lot.
This might actually be the greatest game I've ever played. I've been a JRPG fan my entire life and this takes everything we know and love about the genre and improves it in every possible way. No pointless exposition, no fluff, no filler. The dialogue is well written and poignant.

10/10!! Came back after finishing the story!!! Completely blown away!! My first ever perfect game!! 1st hour will pull at your heart strings. Sets the tone for the whole story, its simply amazing. Avowed was my current GOTY pick but this one earned that spot in just a few hours.
Pretty boring a few hours in. I may get back to it later but I don’t get the hype.
