My biggest issue with the game is how it's marketed. Despite the action-oriented trailers, this is first and foremost a puzzle-solving and investigation game. If you don't enjoy reading notes, paying attention to dialogue, connecting clues, and figuring things out on your own, this probably won't be for you. The game

It was a truly incredible experience. A maturely written, thought-provoking story. The voice acting and characters were incredibly compelling. It's rare to find games as unique as this one.

My personal GOTY so far and probably one of the most memorable games I've played. I guess all of the pros and cons have been discussed by now and it's clear that this game doesn't hit for everyone, but let me say this: If it does hit, it hit's hard.
