All the best parts of bungie gunplay and movement in one of the better extraction shooter packages. some of the looting/menus as well as the implant/core system can be a bit abstract, but those are items I feel confident bungie can easily address and don't have a major impact on

I'm an old, and I'm generally bad at FPS PvP. So, I die a lot in this game. But, d*mn it's still so much fun. I see where I can improve, and it makes me want to get better so I can make serious runs in Cryo at some point.

Everything about the combat in this game is excellent. PvP feels intense and rewards strategy over brute force, usually. The world and lore are mysterious, scary, and intriguing - I want to know more about this place and what happened. The only major ding so far against this game is

If you can get past the whole onboarding (or lack thereof), Marathon will reward you with solid gunplay, diverse roles and an immersive world with rich lore. I sure can't put it down at the moment.

The gunplay and art direction are absolutely flawless, and the amount of lore is staggering. You don’t have to dive into the story if you just want to shoot stuff and loot, but for those that are fascinated and want more, there’s a metric ton of world building to read.

Honestly love the game. It's not perfect, but it's fun. Bungie cooked on the gameplay, just need to get some QoL out the door and it'll be golden.

Great game if it's normal to see an error (tapir) instead of the game after purchasing

Great lor, great visuals, great gun fights, great physics. RPG IS 5/5. Quests are almost the same.

At this point i starting to force myself to play this game and i don't like this. I don't understand why Bungie made Marathon. They have Destiny, which was very groundbreaking and everyone tried to copy it at that time. Now Bungie just made a shallow copy of Tarkov+Apex and brought

Bungie's Marathon stands out as the most visually appealing extraction shooter or as a multiplayer shooter to be released in the past 5 years. While other companies seem to be making yet another Call of Duty, with drab browns and greys, Marathon is a unique blend of cyberpunk's bright corpo

Plagiarized art. Ugly visuals. Bullet sponge enemies reskinned from Destiny. Terrible microtransactions.

Tons of fun, gunplay is best in class as per Bungie standards, contracts are fulfilling, upgrades are meaningful. Excited for Cryo Archive to see what the raid for this game is like. Not even a big extraction shooter person but I am now- This game has its hooks in me bad.

Absolutely incredible game. The visuals are stunning. The music is top-notch and not talked about enough. It has some of the best replayability of all the extraction shooters due to the focus on PvP and the upgradeable factions.

The Gameplay is ok, but the artstyle is very off-putting and repetitive. The heavy reliance on AI enemies takes out a lot of stakes.

needs to abandon the extraction shooter model and consider incorporation more PvE elements

Pros: Gunplay feels good Cons: UI is not intuitive at all, Bungie interfering with reviewers "requesting" they wait weeks, while other games do not get this luxury, game developed using stolen art assets.
