This was one of the picks this month in the Game Pass Game Club, where we pick a game each month to play and discuss. When it opened, I was immediately reminded of the old Out of this World and Flashback games and sure enough, these are mentioned as inspirations

A captivating but flawed sci-fi journey. Amazing visuals and cinematography, with some incredible set pieces and angles not usually seen in the 2D space. The story is compelling, with well written dialog. I only wish there would have been voice acting to further elevate the story and make dramatic moments

The visuals alone are worth it — I kept stopping just to look at the backgrounds. And the sound design? Incredible. It all just hits different, really pulls you into that world. Genuinely one of the most atmospheric games I've played in a long time.
