As expected, Fantasista Asuka didn't ignite any football passion in me. The characters and their interactions (alongside some fanservice) form the game's core appeal. But the matches themselves are often minimally interactive, and the late-game difficulty curve breeds not tension, but unnecessary inactivity and repetition.
