I really like the idea of combining the card-and-stack mechanic with the familiar monster-collecting gameplay—it feels very fresh. However, Stackmon didn’t quite win me over 100 percent, even after I got past the initial learning curve, even though it actually suited my style. Overall, I found it a bit too repetitive and, at the same time, too passive during the adventures.
