The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX (Virtual Console) Reviews

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is, in my opinion, the best Game Boy game and also one of the finest Zelda titles overall. The game's slightly quirky humor and its unusual emotional storyline complement masterful gameplay and level design, making it an essential title for all fans of action-adventure games. Even though the remake for the Nintendo Switch improves upon the game in many respects, the original—or rather its color version—retains a special place due to its excellent use of the hardware.
