Despite it’s flaws, Crazy Strike EX Bowling is by far the best bowling game you can get on current generation consoles. Wii Sports may have the legacy, but if your garage sale/ swap meet made it long gone by now, this is a great way to relive those great moments. And don’t let the setting fool you, as getting a whole lot of strikes feels much more significant.
Crazy Strike Bowling is a fun little game but with a lack of features and online play, it's hard to recommend. It may be fun for younger kids or some local multiplayer fun, but the fun won't last long unless you can turn it into a drinking game. Mind you, if you can do that, you're set for a long time to come.
Sub-par graphics, clunky execution and the namesake game mode being somewhat frustrating and dampening the fun obviously impact my final score. This makes it a hard game to recommend outside of those who truly bowling, or if you have a very patient child to satisfy. Unlockables and Challenge mode are the two main redeeming factors, in my opinion. However, Classic Exhibition can hold up on its own, if you can get past the frustration of those delays in button presses.
