The Tomb Kings are ultimately a great addition to Warhammer's perpetually pissed-off factions, but their poor integration into the Vortex campaign suggests that Creative Assembly haven't quite figured out how to add factions who don't share the core participants' objectives.
Rise of the Tomb Kings, with it's new gameplay mechanics and victory conditions, feels like a full on expansion pack rather than a small DLC.

Once again Creative Assembly breaks the mold with a faction full of personality and unique mechanics. Rise of the Tomb Kings is what we expected for Total War: Warhammer II future and it delivered on pretty much every front.

Rise of the Tomb Kings adds a good amount of new content to the original Total War: WARHAMMER II, including the fact that the new faction is playable in both the campaigns of the original game. Anyway, this DLC will probably be most appreciated by the fan of the expansion of the board game.

Total War: Warhammer 2 - Rise of the Tomb Kings greatly expands on the already massive original game, but the price is a bit too high to make it an instant buy.
