I don’t think there’s a single bad thing you can say about this game. To me, it simply took the franchise in the right direction: a fantastic story, great characters, creative puzzles, and extraordinary gameplay.
It's obviously a well made game but it's boring... Sad dad narrative with rote fighting arenas. You owe it to yourself to play a more interesting game. The perfect encapsulation of why I'd rather play an indie game than a AAA one.
Good Game. But side quests are more challenging than main story villains. Specially the Valkyries. End boss fight could have been more satisfying.
One of the best games that i've played, i don't know what to say. The moments that Kratos calls Atreus BOY are just funny, the dragon fights are insane, not only them ALL bosses are fun. Again a sad story to what happened to Faye (Atreus's mother), Mimir the GOAT

In order to appeal to a wider audience, the game features very simple puzzles with little to no variety, which is the biggest downside for me. Other than that, it has a genuinely excellent combat system and impressive animations.
The game initially did not resonate with me. I felt Kratos was too squishy for being the deity of war. I died a good 3 times in the training area and this frustration carried to the elf realm. I had to lower the difficulty to actually have an experience that

I don't quite love it as much as others. An absolute classic and must play though. Just not my kinda game. But it turned me into a fan and will def have Ragnorok on my must buy list. Cuz you do get quality with everything in game.
What is there to say about this game that no one else had already?
This might be the closest thing to "perfect" in the gaming industry, phenomenal acting, directing, combat, writing, visuals, everything here is top notch.
