Far Cry 3 Classic Edition Player Reviews

I didn't play the original, but this plays extremely well in 2026. Such a great open world first person shooter that offers so many nuggets of addictive gameplay. Collecting loot, clearing outposts, upgrading weapons and materials, and most importantly, a story that hooks and captivates you in the opening minutes.

I wanted to replay this game because it's one of the few games I've played (on Xbox, which is even more rare) just after its release and it impressed me. It looked so cool, so fun, and although I cannot remember whether I finished it or not at that time,

Aiming sucks on controller. The weapon wheel with how slow it takes to switch makes how quick it can take to die in this game all the more painful. I don't really like the "Northern Savior" premise conceptually but it's fine in this game. The trippy scenes were cool but
