Im clearly missing something but i don't see the variety or strategy in this game. It just seems like you choose attack or block everytime and it doesnt make a difference which one.

having a small powerfull deck feels so good

My favorite thing about this game is that it's not at all handholdy in its progression. While a bit of luck and finesse is needed to Slay the Spire, how you go about making it that far is entirely up to the choices you make in who you battle. Easily

Arguably the standard that other card roguelikes are based upon.
