My Reviews

There’s nothing like this game. There are plenty that try, but none of them capture the lightning that this game did. It’s beyond weird, it’s beyond off-putting, it’s beyond unique. It’s so rewarding and so much fun and genuinely both one of the funniest and saddest video games of all

It’s amazing how each entry into this trilogy feels and plays so differently from one another and yet all three are just as good as the other. You can’t go wrong with a game in this particular trilogy, it’s really that good.

A seminal experience in gaming. The return of gaming royalty and it stand among giants. If you want to have FUN then look no further. DOOM 2016 is among the best.

Just as good as DOOM, the difference being that while the CONSISTENCY in map level might not be there, but the tradeoff is that they took bigger risks with the map design, and sometimes it paid off TREMENDOUSLY… but other times maybe not so much

Arguably the most important video game ever made. Enough said.

Another game that I didn’t expect to love half as much as I wound up loving it. A deck-building roguelike? Not my usually gig… but dagnabbit this game is amazing. Absolutely addictive and really as fun as it gets imo.

Arguably the greatest trilogy in video game history. If you don’t already know that… just go play it for yourself.

Everything I could have hoped for in a collection like this. My buddies and I played through every single campaign on Legendary and had the time of our lives… and the be able to play every game’s competitive online modes too? It’s incredible. One of the best deals in gaming

One of my personal favorites of all-time… choice and consequence, a gorgeous world chock full of rich and detailed side content, amazing characters, some of the best exploration ever achieved. It’s truly one of the GOATs.

I’m probably in the minority of people who prefers their souls game to be more like Dark Souls than Elden Ring, but I’d be lying if I said this GMs was anything less than one of the best games ever. Expansive, but rich… STUFFED with meaningful and fun side content…

I love this darn game so much. It doesn’t get its due compared with other From games, but I genuinely like it more than 3 and Bloodborne. I think this is one of the best games ever

Short and sweet, but absolutely wonderful. The gameplay is TIGHT, the story is FUN, and Miles is lovable. A gem.

One of my favorite games ever. Spider-Man is the ultimate video game superhero and this game and its subsequent sequels master the look and feel of being Spider-Man… through the mix of Arkham-style combat, incredible traversal, a great original story and beautiful visuals… this is the standard-bearer of Spidey games

This is the kind of game Sony needs to get back to making. The story is incredible, the gameplay is fun and engaging and high-end, the world is scary and bleak and beautiful… just… THIS is what video games are all about.

If I HAD to pick ONE game as the best stealth games ever of all-time, I think it would be Dishonored 2. What an absolutely incredible blast this game is. Completed my run having never been spotted and without killing anyone and it was one of the most rewarding experiences

I have absolutely no idea what anyone is talking about with regards to this game not being absolutely incredible. One of the best stealth games ever created and it’s locked at 60fps… idk what else people want. The game is legendary.

Legitimately a contender for my favorite Gears of War game ever. The gameplay is engaging, the graphics and characters are s-tier, and the characters are memorable. Not enough people have experienced this wonderful game.

One of the greatest games ever made. The gameplay is iconic… the characters are iconic… the story is iconic… it’s grim, it’s brutal, it’s energetic, it’s fun as heck. Hard to top this one.

This is genuinely one of my favorite video games of all time. Who would’ve thought that this little AA pixelated indie game would provide us with hundreds of hours of wonderful content?

Arguably the best remake ever made. It doesn’t just capture the feel of the original, but expands and improves upon it in every way… sure it’ll never have the charm of the original games… that’s what’s generally lost in remakes… but it stands, on its own, along the original imo.
