This is a 2026 review.
I haven't played this game before but it was on my list for a while. I'm in my 40 and I do not play a lot of games anymore.
I tend to wait for the games to be at least 2 years old, that way the
Cyberpunk 2077 is a truly masterpiece by CD projekt red.
The game has an inredible immersion and a beautiful world that serves a great story. The sides quests are also very intresting with a very good writing and characters.
The most gut wrenching "soul" killing games i have ever played "There's no happy ending in NightCity" was true to a fault in every ending Masterpiece.
I've owned this game since it first came out...Boy it's come a looonng way since then. Even when newer games come out, I play them for a while and then meander my way back to this game.
Just watch the anime, this is just a glorified visual novel!
One of the best stories told in a game, and the faceplate is so engaging and has a very eide variety of playing styles. The dark ambience of night city just takes you down to a rabbit hole that you cannot easily escape. On my 5th playthrough at the moment
Excellent Fun. Great music too. I run it using Crossover on a Mac and it works perfectly.

After its disastrous launch, CDPR did a genuinely good job; the game now runs perfectly fine. It is fully playable at this point. There’s no need to say much more Cyberpunk is now one of the better open-world FPS games out there.

Cyberpunk 2077 delivers an ambitious and visually striking open-world experience. Night City remains one of the most detailed and atmospheric settings in modern gaming, supported by strong art direction and immersive sound design. While the game still presents occasional bugs and technical hiccups, they rarely overshadow the core experience.
