Wintermoor Tactics Club is a good game but more for fans of visual-novel than turn-based strategy geeks. Well-written history, characteristic heroes and audiovisual setting - there are some strong points. However, if you are looking for something special in the tactical layer, it is better to let go and look for other games.

Wintermoor Tactics Club is ultimately a feel-good story with fun tactical battles. It might not be the most complex strategy game out there or have the deepest plot, but it’s an enjoyable way to spend 10 or so hours.
Combining together elements of visual novel gameplay and a tactical RPG combat system, Wintermoor Tactics Club does an excellent job fusing the two into a short and sweet romp.
