In Death: Unchained is one of those addictive games that I keep coming back to. It begs you to try once more to get that little bit further. It keeps things fresh constantly by changing elements. The combat isn’t innovative as several other games have done similar, but it is one of the best implementations of this type of system I’ve seen. There isn’t much I can fault about it.
An archery games in VR with a very solid, demanding and fun roguelite structure. Not for everyone, but luckily there is never pure frustration.

In Death: Unchained is a good game, it's a hard game, and it even feels great when you're losing. A really solid little roguelike that's absorbing enough to make you forget that you're technically exercising while you play.
In Death: Unchained is a great addition to the roguelite genre for our Oculus Quest. With much more content than its older brother, perhaps its biggest flaws are the limited variety of environments, the imbalance between its two main weapons, and the need to farm to gain new abilities. Even so, if you are a fan of the genre and virtual reality, it is a must. In nothing you will be shooting arrows like a madman.

In Death: Unchained is a procedurally generated game for the Oculus Quest that originated on PCVR in 2018. Focusing on archery with a bow and then later a crossbow, you will work to kill enemies and navigate around various levels taking down hordes of enemies. In Death: Unchained makes you traverse through the world using a teleport mechanic as you shoot arrows at the ground. This allows you to zip towards or away from them while targeting or running away from battles. Traversing the levels can be a bit of a dance in ways as lining up your shots from a distance can be rewarding albeit difficult to accomplish.
In Death: Unchained is the roguelite fans or even non-fans of the genre need to play. While it won't blow anyone away in technical features, its robust gameplay, awesome physics and sneaky depth make it an outstanding Quest library addition.
In Death: Unchained is a faithful VR title that does what it’s supposed to, albeit with noticeably less visible finesse. However, it feels stale in long playthroughs. I would recommend picking this one up if you consider yourself a fan of VR shooters. Otherwise, maybe skip this one.
