Gojisan26 Ghost of Yotei Review

A very good continuation of the groundwork laid by the first game. Combat is still flashy and satisfying. Changing weapons instead of stances is functionally the same, but does feel different and adds nice variety. Open world feels much more alive and lived in. Some QOL changes that are appreciated. Visually beautiful, not a massive upgrade over the first game, but still noticeable. Sound design is some of the best you’ll ever experience. A revenge story that is a bit predictable, but is written and performed well. Plenty of content, 35ish hours in and am roughly 60-65% of the way through so value per dollar is good. Amazing score, beautiful music throughout. Is well optimized and not buggy at all at launch. Overall a great game, a worthy sequel to another amazing game. Even in some ways surpassing it
