Formula Legends provides a technically challenging experience - speed must be carefully managed around turns to prevent crashes and vehicular damage, and the opponent AI is ruthless. That said, the game's challenge feels fair; when I finally beat a single computer with a 13th-place finish, I felt like a true challenge and burst of pride. The game rewards practice and really feels like victories and losses are well-deserved - no last-second blue shells to steal defeat from victory here. My biggest glow-up on the track came from adjusting my camera angle - once I felt more behind the wheel and could see the tracks from a perspective closer to the road, the game started to really click and I could see my lap times begin to improve. If you want to try a neat step between the cartoony cart racers and the intense racing simulators, Formula Legends provides both the accessibility of arcade racers and the technical challenge of realistic racing games for an experience that gets the blood pumping.
