Maizu Rocket League Review

The core gameplay remains excellent, but Rocket League has taken several steps in the wrong direction. The constant DDoS attacks affecting lobbies and the removal of the trading system have significantly diminished the experience that made the original game so special. Additionally, the free-to-play transition and removal from Steam has led to rampant smurfing across all skill levels, creating an increasingly frustrating competitive environment. While the fundamental mechanics are still solid, these issues have undermined what was once a truly great game.
