Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia is a solid 2.5D spin-off with a unique setting and visual style. The snowy Russian atmosphere looks great, and the stealth gameplay is still fun, especially with the different tools and abilities. I also liked playing as Nikolai and the way the game connects to the wider Assassin’s Creed story. However, the gameplay can feel repetitive, and the linear level design limits the experience. The story is also fairly simple. Overall, it’s an enjoyable spin-off, but it feels more like a short side experience than a full Assassin’s Creed game.
